Sold at Bunnings Warehouse - Polyfilla products from 1 July 2017 to 26 October 2018 with batch numbers above 826. The batch number is on the underside (bottom) of the can.
Defect Some cans may have been damaged prior to purchase, during storage and handling. If damaged, the pressurised can may rupture and expel its contents. Only cans damaged prior to purchase are recalled.
Hazard If a damaged can ruptures, the product may leak out, posing a risk of impact injury from the can itself and/or skin and/or eye irritation from the contents.
What to do: Consumers should gently inspect the can for deep scratches, indentations and/or puncture holes (click here to see sample photos of damage). If the can has any such damage, consumers should not use it, and should handle it with care to avoid rupture (wrap it in paper, double bag it and do not drop) and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or exchange.
